To see a video of her project:
This album was made for a dear friend of mine's 8 year old daughter. It is 8x8 in size. The designer also includes add-on sizes purchased separately so you can adjust the size to your needs without having to figure it all out yourself! Definitely worth the extra $5.00
For the spine I used some leopard print ribbon and some jewelry chain that I found at Big Lots. I attached the chain using some large studded brads and reinforced with glossy accents on the inside.
I used my Sizzix Eclips2 to cut out the peace symbols on both front and back as well as the lettering for her name.
The paper collection that I used was DCWV- Rockstar collection along with some additional single sheets of zebra stripes and leopard print..
Each page has a flap on the outer edge that folds in towards the spine and has a small pocket (If you wish) on the inside. I made a bi-fold insert for journaling spots for each pocket.
The back side of each page has a larger pocket for more photo mats or journaling spots..
