Paper Collection: By The Sea by: Graphic 45
For this album I used the 8x8 pad, the sticker sheet and chipboard pieces.
For the spine I used a piece of paper from my stash with a pearl-like look to it.
To add a little extra interest to the spine I used pre-strung shell pieces that I found at Big Lots! in their craft section. I kept them strung and pierced a hole on top and bottom of the spine and attached to the inside of the book with glue to hold in place. I also used some Glossy Accents to hold a few of the shell pieces in place.
I attached Tim Holtz swivel hook to the back cover with some random nautical charms for the closure. It attaches on the front cover with another Tim Holtz Ring Fastener,
Each page is structured the same way essentially. I used the cut apart pieces from the collection to decorate the flap on the right side. I used my Martha Stewart Punch on some scraps from the paper I used on the spine to decorate the inside covers.
I made a booklet out of scraps from the collection and tied it with twine to hold some additional photos
This is a burlap sack that I found at Wal-Mart, I thought it was the perfect way to gift wrap the finished book.
